Don, lots of claims of relations in that post. I'd still like to see some simple graphs. I am someone who was convinced there was a relation, but then there would be X class flares and as far as I could tell looking at the California map and global PDEs, nothing significant would happen. On the other hand, there seem to be certain earthquakes that stand out during high Kp index-like the Adirondacks M5 last year...Speaking of which, the Kp index is in the "red" zone this morning.
