Maybe a map like the cal-tech people generate showing monthly quakes would be an idea - they animate the quakes over a period - with it you could see migration -

In this case you'd probably want to find 'time sets' of quake activity and plot them as a group - its so rare that there is any significant activity in the area - would anyone have a contact to get the software that cal-tech uses to generate their maps? I see they have a java script version but now we'd need the maps...
