About the only earthquake precursor data that I ever check other than my own data are the reports at Shan’s Web site. And I check them only when I myself think that a destructive earthquake might be about to occur. Fortunately that does not happen very often. My forecasting program attempts to let people know when a potentially destructive earthquake might be about to occur. I have concluded that “Ear Tones” are probably linked with earthquakes which might occur anywhere, not just the ones which will occur near populated areas. So with my forecasting program I usually ignore them unless I think that a highly destructive earthquake might be about to occur. Then I will probably try to use all of the signals that I detect to tell where it is going to occur. I am of the opinion that Ear Tones might be most useful for research purposes. They appear to be almost universal for people who are earthquake sensitive. So quite a few people could compare notes regarding them. Perhaps we could learn something about how and why they are being generated and how they can be used to determine where earthquakes are going to occur. And I think that it is unfortunate that people have apparently decided that they do not want to discuss this subject matter. I would probably be happy to add comments to a discussion like that if someone else started it. But I am busy with my earthquake triggering research and do not presently have time to try to get that type of effort going on my own.
