Yes, I agree that text on slides is not great. I had little text on my slides. One problem I had for Marmara and will have for Santa Monica is no pictures of rocks. I had lunch after a PAc Section AAPG where Nicholson, Atwater, and I had given successive talks on models without showing rocks. Then, at lunch I overheard a discussion by people complaining that they saw no rocks. For Marmara, I had to show seismic-since I am not really working there I had no 3D structure figures. You really do not want to show very much seismic. For Santa Monica, I have 3D views and will probably make animations. But, I still have no pictures of rocks....I have great pictures of rocks for my work on the Islands, though Chris
