I thought you were out here down south? What is AGU/EGS? I know the AGU has their spring meeting in May in Washington, so what is this other event?

I just got my first issue of EOS in a long time. It took forever for them to change my address so I could get the paper again. I'm sure I missed a lot of valuable reading material. I hope I didn't miss any important Obits. I hate to address folks posthumously and seem ill informed. Of course, it took 6 months for the AGU to announce the loss of Tom McEvilly. Gosh. He died two months after I had seen him at the AGU and I didn't know about it for the longest time. Gotta keep up.
