What I am saying is that I have been talking with people who understand these concepts. I did not say that they were experts in this area. In fact I have formed the impression from numerous conversations with people that no one anywhere really knows much about this. And I have to say that this is one of the strangest things I have ever encountered. Understanding how earthquakes are being triggered is a crucially important subject in my opinion and probably that of many other people. This appears to be a productive approach to investigating them. People have been studying earthquakes for probably as far back as we have historical records. This is relatively easy work to do. Yet there are no “experts” in this area. Very strange indeed!
