Hi EQF, Earthquake triggering leads to earthquakes. To save a life you have to tell people they are in danger, to do so one must predict the earthquake above random chance to find a believable audience. Insofar as praise, there is no human being on this planet who is not deserving of praise no matter the issue at hand. Simply saying Thank You could be considered praise for instance. While earth scientists may not in this kind of medium receive a lot of praise for their volunteer efforts to teach the rest of us what they know, they do receive it from their peers and that matters far more than a few words spoken here. But as you have brought this issue to the board, I would like to express my thankfulness to John Vidale for his time and patience with we novices and lay persons here. I do try to learn from everyone and listen and read intently so the value of the words or statements are of benefit to me. In additional to thanking John, I have to also thank Lowell Whiteside, Roger Hunter, Roger Musson, Gerry Chouliaras and some others who have given of themselves on our behalf. To all of the rest of the board forum members, including you EQF, my thanks are also expressed in your efforts to be in attendance, provide useful information, assert opinions for airing, even though not widely accepted. We learn in research when these topics are brought forth and none of us can say we have not contributed something of value. I wish to also thank Canie for her time and dedication to this effort. She is an extremely busy person and has one of the most difficult jobs in running this circus. Canie, I raise my glass in a toast to you, you deserve it! Cheers...Petra
