rule of thumb for the next quake

Tony, It's not very useful, but the average is that any quake has a 1 in 10 chance of being followed by a bigger quake, most often just a bit bigger and in the first few hours or days. It applies to Big Bear quakes as much as anywhere. You'll have to rely on others here to give you more precise ideas of what to expect. John
