Don, I agree, debates should rest on facts. Plate tectonics gained acceptance because the facts were on its side; coastlines in agreement, magnetic stripes recording mid-ocean spreading, earthquake mechanisms supporting 3 types of plate boundaries. I just don't want to argue based on people's personalities and friendships. Let's talk about well-documented facts. However, at the moment geoForecaster's facts are propietary, and their statistics rather odd. John
