If I recall this correctly, Lowell was looking at Solar Flares in association with triggering earthquakes in non volcanic regions and geomagnetic storms in association with volcanic area activity.

If you have been following the volcanic activity at Popo Volcano for the past week or so, it is very elevated with steam and ash eruptions, volcanic-tectonic quakes and harmonic tremors. One of yesterdays eruptions included pieces of rock being propelled out of the crater and falling as incandescent objects.

Eruptions are expected at a higher level than at present time due to a rebuilding of the lava dome.

I hope if the above is not perfectly correct, Lowell will pop round and set me straight. LOL
