Hi all, Here are the results of the post-Colima EQ contest. There were only 3 entries. I think that Robert's 2nd choice of LAX was posted after the 3.1 there. Don's and Michael's are the closest in my opinion, to the M4+ east of Bakersfield-Don forecast for the Long Valley region, over 200 km farther north, and the EQ was out of his time window. But, given that I gave the whole country, not too bad. Michael forecast a Hector mine area quake, and he may be a little closer in distance-but still about 200 km.
So, not bad, but I don't have to post what I was going to post. By the way, Lowell mentioned post-Colima earthquakes in Spain and Poland, and they finally showed up on the USGS page-just over M4s.
