The SCEC-linked USGS page shows a M3.2 farther SE, but NW of Parkfield, near the San Andreas fault. So, I've got my 3, but it was not a prediction (the 3.2 has not been checked by seismologist yet-is computer generated). Speaking of which-activity has seemed pretty "normal" (whatever that means) for the last couple months in California-which makes me think of that extended period of low activity-was that last spring? What is that all about?
