That wind sure was howling Sunday night. It woke me up several times as stuff was tossed around the backyards nearby. Knocked a bunch up my Christmas lights down, but hey, they needed to come down anyways! Maybe the flash was the high tension lines hitting each other? I didn't hear anything about transfomers either. As you probably know those million volt lines passing by our area continue down to the newhall pass on the east side of the freeway. Don't know if the wind picked up there earlier or not. Just a guess ....
