Hi Don. There seems to be some type of communications problem here. I thought that in my note I made it clear that I AM considering giving my earthquake forecasting program to different governments etc. for free if any are interested. But I also said that I am not going to sit there and constantly type numbers into their computers for them. They are going to have to do at least some work. Additionally, I use certain routines to calculate the positions of the sun and the moon in the sky etc. for the times when different earthquakes occur. That is also something they can do for themselves.

Regarding the nature of my forecasting program, it basically just involves comparing the numbers like the ones stored at my Web site with one another. And those numbers are there for anyone including you to evaluate if you wish.

It is something of a mystery to me why you keep asking if my program works when you can see the numbers yourself. Look at the “ac” and “am” numbers for December 28, 2002. They are a fairly good match for the Philippines earthquake numbers for December 30, 2002. Forecasters in the Philippines looking at the December 28 numbers might have simply looked at the same type numbers for their past earthquakes, spotted a match, and determined that another earthquake might be about to occur there. And they would have been correct. I simply do not have time to try to determine when matches like those are occurring all the time because I would have to look at earthquakes occurring everywhere. But people in individual countries could do that quite easily as they would be checking only for their local earthquakes.
