Help Requested to find Meteorite |
12/07/1999 06:21:00 ET Irish astronomers search for meteorite "Security camera operators can play a pivotal role in Irish history in catching this cosmic fugitive," David Moore of Astronomy Ireland, the Astronomers have so far failed to find the meteorite since it came down in the Carlow area south of Dublin at about 10:10 p.m. on November 28. Astronomy Ireland asked owners of indoor security cameras to check their tapes for a bright flash up to five seconds long, while those with outdoor cameras should check to see if they recorded the fireball itself.
