The reason that I stated that I did not want to respond to any comments before December 26 was generally explained in my second note. December 25 is the day of a special religious event for many people around the world. And it is my personal belief that out of respect for such an event, on that day and other such days, people should probably try to focus on things such as their relationships with the "powers that be" and with their own familes. Discussions regarding earthquakes can afford to take a day off.

Regarding technical matters, I am presently busy evaluating data connected with that earthquake Web site that I mentioned. At the moment those data look like they could be rather important. And I may have a fair amount to say about them before too long.
