Re: N Baja quakes |
Hello Canie, What is your evidence for that? Have you made a simple graph-like days before and after earthquakes of a certain size in a certain area of Baja, with number of earthquakes over a certain magnitude for a certain area of California. We have not heard from Roger in a while, but if you supply him the parameters he might be able to do this, or you probably can. Speaking of Roger, he did some interesting stuff on EQs before and after on the FFA global maps, and the New Guinea-SOCAL correlation (or not), but we never followed up on this. Also, someone needs to do something similar for solar flares and earthquakes in volcanic areas (including spreading centers). There are various things discussed on this page that are taken as fact, but I think it more interesting to look into this. Lowell has done statistical analyses of a lot of these, but I'd like that to be complemented by simple visual graphs and maps, so we have a better feel for what the statistics mean.....Back to making maps for Ross Sea-a research expedition in January that the NSF and Ratheon Polar services doctors are not letting me go on-because of being on blood thinner for clotting disorder.....Chris Follow Ups: ● Re: N Baja quakes - Canie 12:03:57 - 12/14/2002 (17588) (0) ● Re: N Baja quakes - Petra Challus 10:00:57 - 12/14/2002 (17587) (0) |
