Kansas Earthquake and subsequent M 6.,6 in New Ireland |
An earthquake of Ml 2.8 was registered near Zurich, Kansas yesterday about half a day before a M 6.6 in the New Ireland region last night. The Kansas earthquake lies at the core-mantle shadow boundary distance from the New Ireland earthquake. The last events in Kansas occurred shortly before the great Alaska earthquake on Nov. 3 (on Nov. 1 and 3).
