Hi All. Looks like there has been acceleration in creep in the SJB area again. This is the second time this has happened in less then two weeks.

I know the quake activity south of Hollister is way down so this may be the result of that. The fault has gotten loose as a goose and is playing catch up.

In the past there has been some notable creep before a large quake to the north of Hollister. However having never seen the data for that I’m not sure if this is the same. I suppose we will find out sooner or later.

I know Petra has said she hopped we would have a good shake while were at the AGU. She wants to see the faces of those who have never felt an earthquake before. It would definitely be interesting to see. Petra and I know a person who has been in the earthquake field for many years, but has yet to feel one. I guess we all can’t be lucky to have an earthquake factory in our backyard. Take Care…Don in creepy town
