Impressions - Far Out? I Wonder |
Hi All, Now here's some food for foddor or an excellent excuse to use what we know in expressing how we think about an idea I've been tossing around. I opened the USGS CA map after work this evening and was quite surprised to see the earthquake activity in Northern, CA. My instant impression was that this had something to do with the 7.9 quake in Denali. I wondered if it was possible the earthquake shifted something a little more than just Alaska and some type of pressure is being exerted on the No. Calif area from NW to SE and that's what's causing the quakes. This area normally acts up when the MTJ has a moderate quake and you can see the line going from west to east, but what we have now is not the normal pattern. So, join me and let me have the benefit of your thoughts about this somewhat unusual lineup. Thanks....Petra Follow Ups: ● Re: Impressions - Far Out?
