I thought someone else brought this up the last time we had a deep quake and someone said it didn't matter? It would seem to have some relation to it though. So I suppose the rings should/would be closer to the hypocenter since it was so deep?

PS: all my email has been down for over a day now - nothing is getting through - I'm trying to get it fixed but its been difficult dealing with Earthlink - so if anyone has registered I didn't get the request. Or if anyone else has tried to send me mail I haven't gotten it. Hopefully it will be back soon. (today!)
