A bit off topic, but there is going to be another meteor storm from the Leonids tonight-or, more precisely, tomorrow morning about 5:00 or 5:30 AM 19th eastern (2 Pacific) a NASA page has it peaking at >3000/hour. I'm getting up and driving an additional 20 miles north of the big city-but the sky-glow of the city really extends out 100 miles or more. two weeks ago I was 100 miles offshore of LA and there was a pretty strong sky glow in the east....The moon will be setting here but pretty high in the sky in CA...Chris
