Hi EQF, I see we are far afield from the earlier discussion, however, let us take it to the next step. Inasmuch as you are interested in solar data in relationship to ear tones and possible resulting epicenters I would like to make mention of something which may prove of use to your research project. At certain times when solar flares occur, ear tone subjects will hear a tone, and an earthquake occurs at the same time. So if you watch the "solar absorbtion page" from Today's Space Weather, you may be able to use the data to correlate these events, rather than trying to figure out the distance from the Sun to the Earth. To date I have found no relationship to lunar or tidal data which have a direct influnce on my ear tones, but have had the experience of hearing an ear tone as a solar flare occurs and an earthquake happens at exactly the same time. Though this was a singular event. Very rare. Hope this helps.....Petra
