Alaskan Earthquake Forecast Continued low to moderate earthquake activity, statewide from today through the next ten days. (1.0 - 3.9) Moderate activity is expected throughout the mid-interior regions with occasional activity to the southeast. (4.0 - 6.0) Possible moderately large earthquakes in the corridor between Cantwell and the Kenai Peninsula, not exclusive of the area surrounding Anchorage. (>6.0) It is suggested preparedness measures should be continued throughout the period. |
