Someone sent me about 15 of their Ear Tone data points. I have now done the necessary calculations on them and plan to store them in a file at my Freewebz.com Web site within a few days. Another note will be posted when they become available for viewing at the site. They have been mixed with my own precursor and earthquake data so that people can compare them. And I have to say that I am somewhat surprised that there were so few matches between the other person’s signals and my own. I would have thought that strong Ear Tones would be heard by most people at the same time. Well, that is why people do research. Live and learn. There is a message regarding this type of effort which I have stated to other earthquake forecasters on numerous occasions in the past. And I will repeat it once again in this present note. I feel that it is just a matter of time before government scientists around the world will be able to forecast earthquakes with the same ease that they presently forecast the weather. And I expect that their earthquake forecasts will actually be much better than the weather related ones. Although that day may still be a few years away, when it does arrive, many and perhaps all of the people presently doing earthquake forecasting work including myself may have their forecasting procedures become obsolete fairly quickly. The point is, people might want to make use of their data fairly soon. At some point in the not-too-distant future they may be of little interest to anyone. These are personal opinions.
