as i mentioned in a post below, there is an article starting on p. 41 of the Nov 2002 Physics Today on earthquakes triggering volcanos, including distant ones, and vice versa. You can see the cover and a brief description on www.physicstoday.org but you need a subscription to read the article online. I'd suggest those of you interested in triggering and how to go about publishing (what makes a nice article) find a way to get this one.....anyh member of AGU or several other groups gets this journal....and it should be in any university library.
