According to the USGS maps we have the following:

7.9 2002/11/03 22:12:41 63.743 -147.687 10.0 57 km ( 35 mi) E of McKinley Park, AK

The prior earthquake near there occurred as follows:

6.7 2002/10/23 63.576 148.088 Depth 14KM

Today's 7.9 was preceeded earlier in the day by twin 4.0 quakes occurring at exactly the same time, but only separated by a narrow margin.

This appears to be on the very edge of the FFA zone from the Indonesia quake.
