I have thought of you often since yesterday. I wondered if you had received symptoms before this earthquake occurred? You did not say in your post, but I am curious to know.

It is hard to imagine that the greatest loss of life comes to children and how their parents grieving will be long and difficult.

I also wondered once again if these children had whistles if they would have been found sooner, but in this one cannot know.

Vesusvius I hope sleeps the long sleep. I know it is close to you and in the past it has had a connection to San Francisco. 3 days before the Great 1906 earthquake Vesuvius erupted, thus the tie of connection may be there.
