I think this will be my 7th trip to the Grand Canyon - You MUST go there. There are no words to really describe it and pictures just can't relay its awesome beauty. The IMAX theater movie almost describes it but its a must for all to see.

From the rim you can look down to 2 Billion years of geologic history. There's nothing like it anywhere else. Last summer I was in China in the world's steepest gorge - it doesn't have the same history laid out before you like the Grand Canyon does.

Keith and I were talking the other day about how we'd like to do another rafting trip thru the canyon. I think its kinda funny because we were both thinking about it at the same time. So maybe we'll do that again sometime in the near future.

Its best to go in the spring or fall - it gets too hot in the summer and too many people. My first trip was in December back in about 1977 - we took a mule trip down to the bottom and spent the night at the ranch. I still think it beats hiking it!
