Hello to all, I'm new to this site, but have had one email correspondence with Petra and many with Don. Now that I'm here (thank you Canie) I'll be able to ask my questions poor Don has graciously been answering via email.

Live up in the North Bay in Santa Rosa - not too far from a thrust fault as I recall Don telling me. 5 miles north of the Bennett Valley quake and 2 miles east (or is it 4?) of the large quake that hit Santa Rosa quite a while ago. Must dig out the dates. Anyway, some of you I recognize, others not, but I sure am glad to be here.

Think I'll just crawl under the table now...and eat my steak ;-)
