The stacked asterisks represent multiple quakes on that day and yes, I do get arguments from most people.

I do not count them because they are not predicted.

If you predict "a quake" and there are 10 that day (or window) are you a better predictor than someone who predicts "a quake" and gets only one?

I think not.

Now if you predict "3 or more" for example, that's another matter.
