Thanks for the field report - those are interesting places - we got to tour some geothermal plants down at the Salton Sea - over by Obsidian Butte area. I really hate heights and walking on those walkways made out of metal that has holes in it.... They had that stuff about 5 floors up at the place we toured. Why would any sane human being be afraid of slipping through a 1/2 x 1/4 inch hole? Or a whole grid of them? Anyway - they are a fun place to tour.
