Anything you can contribute to the earthquake prediction or evaluation process is always welcome, and your posts have always been thoughtful and well constructed, keep up the good work.

I thought I should point out that two earthquakes occurred in the past 24 hours which appear to complete the events forecast in Don's two forecasts. The first occurred this afternoon as a Ml 3.0 near Ludlow/Baker, CA. The other was a Mb 2.6 (Ml probably larger) near Nashua, New Hampshire last night. That was the largest earthquake within the New England region since Dec. 27, 2001 when a Ml 2.7 was felt near Bridgeport ME, and the largest in the area including New York since a Ml 2.9 aftershock along the NY border on July 14. It is also the largest in the N.H, VT, Massachusetts, Connecticut, R.I region in more than a year. It occurred as the remnants of Hurricane Isidore were passing directly over the epicenter.

Don's forecasts were therefore hits or near hits in all five cases - Guerrero, Mexico, Pinnacles and Baker, CA, New York, and the Coast of Oregon. Kind of spooky.
