While it was a good call on your part, as far as the contest it is very far (probably 1000 km) from the path of Isodore. So, sort of a non-entry. I have no idea why a hurricane should push a plate over a subduction zone-what is pushing? Someone has to explain this to me, otherwise I won't believe it-Lowell may have explained this to me in the past but it did not stick.

As far as my quick calculation that a 5 m storm surge could increase vertical stress by 1/2 bar: Isodore is too weak-the storm surge will be more like 1 m than 5....
