A Possible Pattern?

I've noticed for the 3rd consecutive time now that when we get a swarm of 1 pointers concentrated in a certain radius in either LA or OC, we get a 4+ event. It was this time last year, LA saw several small events from Santa Monica, to the Valley to Culver City culminating in a 4.2 in W. Hollywood. Several weeks later, Compton had a swarm, although I don't remember if the 3.7 was proceeded by several micro quakes, or, if they came about after. In January, there were a few small 1 pointers in the Santa Clarita Valley, ending in a 4.5 event. All this week I've been watching w/ interest at these small quakes all over the OC/LA border. And now this. It seems this relation of popcorn quakes leading to the 4 points has only happened this year, and, only in the LA metro area (Santa Clarita Valley down to Newport.) Obviously this method of observation would have no validity for areas like the desert or parts of the bay area/Hollister. Next time we get a cluster of popcorn quakes going in the LA area, I'm going to throw my hat in the ring and make a prediction. :)
