Petra-I assume you mean by "flares occur often near Indonesia" as "Indonesia is often subsolar at the peak of large flares?". The area you are mentioning is a series of very active subduction zones, so there are earthquakes there all the time. Have you looked at this cautiously-like maps of quakes there for different time periods-like before, during, and after flares?
