Usally it is centeral or so. alaska that seems to resonate to Ca or in some cases,Mexico. The alleutions tend to start a cycle that may show up as a Iran/Iraq/Russian area eq. However,things tend to be different now and may be something in Turkey again. I have not looked at the whole picture this week but my car is not parked in the garage here in Ore. I have not gone back to 1964 to see what the Ca. activity was then before or after the big Alaskan eq. Briefly,angles at first glance also indicate Hawaii area or the Pacfic. Note that the Ak eq's are on the 57N-60 right after many K region activity on the 53-54N and that there was much activity on the 57N in the Atlantic prior to this round of large eq's in AK. Also,if I recall right there was a 5.+ in Wa (Sastop,almost moved there two years ago((sp))after another hit at Kodiac a few months back. These are just observations that I have made. Dona
