Hi Petra. I know those thunderstorms that you speak of quite well :-) Sometimes we are treated to quite a show. I can't really imagine what it would be like around here with all of these volcanoes active at once. I imagine that it would be a real disaster mainly because of how populated this area is now. The native legends indicate that there were some amazing shows put on by Mother Nature over the years. This is definately the time of year to get out and enjoy all that the area has to offer. It won't be that long before the rains come and everything will change. It's always a bittersweet time as you probably know :-)
