Hi Roger, I rather like that kind of thinking. Warms up the ole gray cells. LOL On the serious side I've often wondered if by using numerology one could find a pattern by mo/da/yr totals and determine if any number (total)showed a historical record of having quakes on days that added up between 1 through 9. IE: Totals are accomplished by adding sideways and reducing numbers to single digits: such as todays date of 8/10/2002 Zero's have no numerical value. 8 + 1 = 9 + 0 = 9 + 2= 11. 1+1 =2 +2 = 4 Tomorrow 8/11/2002 will equal a 5 day. Thus using this system and historically large quakes, do they occur more often on any particular total day of one through nine. This stuffs enough to give you a brain f*rt. LOL I'm interested. Petra
