So, were there any unusual flare-ups in seismicity? One of the largest solar flares was in March(?) 1989 and was followed 4 days later by a M6.6 earthquake in Malawi. There really did seem to be a few earthquakes in the east African rift area that followed flares by 4 1/3 days-I think maybe the M7 farther north-was that in Sudan?, occurred a few days after a flare. But, the last couple of years I have not seen much of this-nothing that casually looks significant.
