Hi .02. Most of my neighbors are not home during the day and I have yet to see any of them wandering around barefoot in the 3 years I have lived here. In fact, I never even see the kids around here without shoes on. Doesn't anyone else wander around outside without shoes on or am I the only one? :-) Like I said, it wasn't a major jolt, it was just a distinct shock when I stepped onto the ground which has never happened to me before. I would think that if anyone else in the area had been walking around without shoes of some sort on their feet they would have certainly felt that. Thanks for posting the information, it's certainly interesting reading. I have been outside today quite a bit and haven't gotten shocked, so maybe it was a one time thing. If it happens more often I suppose I'll see about having someone come over and check it out for me. It's such an interesting world we live in.
