Hi Alan. The Hector quake was a 6.6ML and 7.1Mw - so if you use the Richter scale's 6.6 it would corelate a bit better with your numbers.

I was at a talk given by Dr. Lucy Jones of USGS where she said the aftershocks were Average to Low Average for this quake.
