Tony, I was tempted to contact this guy, and yes, the same thing crossed my mind that crossed yours. But, since the president of US and Governer of California got this email, and probably dozens of geoscientists. It was my opinion and the opinion of my wife that it would accomplish nothing and asking for trouble to contact this guy. I'll be posting in the next day or 2 here on this thread to say how it came out, and what the specific warning was. I post at all because this raises some interesting ethical and science issues.
