Now for some speculative "out of the box" What If's (to start the weekend off right).

What if....

The lost city of Atlantis, thought to be highly advanced, had technology which effected this area but for which that had Zero understanding. What if the power grid they set up (later described by Tesla ?) inadvertently had a catastrophic global effect leading to massive earthquakes and other massive plate motions leading, in part, to wide-spread global extinctions / deaths. IOWs, technology developed for one purpose had a hidden and catastrophic "dark side" which was not undertstood and lead to the demise of their civilization.

Lesson Learned ? : ==>"Don't Go There..." :-)
(Unless you fully understand how the technology works including it's "hidden side").

You know when they were developing the H-bomb they did not know if a detonation would set-off a chain reaction that would destroy the atmosphere and kill all life on earth. You guess it...they went ahead and "pulled the trigger" anyway. Whew...could be it was a close call huh ?
