Hi All,

Have you wondered lately who's doing it? Of those who are, do you wonder if they are any good at it? You know, a lot of folks try, but they just don't have what it takes. So maybe history would play an important role in teaching us, if its good, does it stay that way and if so, for how long? Maybe, it's only for the young. People with lots of vitality, enthusiasm, a go do it attitude and the stamina it takes to keep at it.

Are you staying with me here? Gosh I hope so, because this contest is nothing at all like the others. But it is open to anyone of any age, with or without vitality or youth, but must surely have enthusiasm to win.

Okay, here we go. The question is Who's Doing It? This refers to what person or group of people are actively practicing public earthquake prediction today. Is the VAN group still hanging there? What's coming out of Russia or China. So I'll leave the rules to this funny, but very fascinating game as follows:

The person who can name an individual scientist, or group of scientists which are currently, publically forecasting/predicting earthquakes and has made a successful prediction in the last 6 months will be the winner.

Of course for this game/research project one must receive a prize. Therefore, I'll provide a nice piece of chert nodule, light apple green in color and ever so s m o o o o o o t h e to the touch. (If we have multiple winners, I've got plenty of chert to go around.)
