Hi EQF,

Gosh darn, I'm confused. So you are going to contact scientists or perhaps those who are into fringe science and help them get organized. Is that right? I wonder how much they will appreciate your offer of assistance?

See what confuses me is your placing earthquake forecasting and life saving efforts into some kind of organized pattern. So would one then look to you to gather their data and put it together in some organized format? If so, where would this information be delivered? Would it only be limited to the groups or individuals involved or others?

Here in California we have the (OES), Office of Emergency Services. They organize the State on all levels for any type of disaster, including earthquakes. They have drills freqently in different cities to test their abilities and work out any of the bugs in the works. So I'm not sure how your efforts would combine with theirs, unless you intend to go Nationwide and contact others cities to develop similar programs. Is that it?

You see EQF I like everything to be clear and concise. No half statements about anything. Whatever program a person has, then it should already have steps A thru Z set up and worked out before one single word is uttered about it.

I don't mean to be picky but you advised us you have started the formal stages of creating something to do with forecasting and life saving efforts and yet when I ask you about it, you said it might never get off the ground and you don't want to say anymore about it. Should one not expect to have others bring forth a question or two from such a post? I think its only natural. After all, we are an inquisitive group, right?

So with that said, when its time to break open the champagne and say a toast to you for your efforts, just let me know. I've got a bottle ready to go at any time.
