Hi All,

While we are experiencing a plethora of 3.0 or greater quakes in the Northern California Region, chances are a 4.0 or greater quake may be right around the corner. So I thought it would be interesting to name that 4.0 or greater location in the State of California.

Three (3) entries per person will be allowed. Just make one post with the 3 city names. Please define the place by city name only. The Mendocino Triple Junction for instance is not a city, but a place name, so one should name Petrolia, Ferndale, Eureka and so forth, rather than the MTJ.

This is a simple contest. The time is frame runs from now to May 18. Just name your cities of choice and the person who gets the closest by May 18, is the winner. If no 4.0 or greater quakes arrive by May 18, the contest entry time will be extended. Remember, the victory goes to the one who is closest to the city, not the magnitude of the quake over a 4.0.

As I thought of the contest and Roger and Lowell are out of town, I'll be the judge and not present any entries for the contest. I hope that meets with your approval.
