It looks like Don's Whakatane, New Zealand forecast earthquake may have arrived several days early. IGNS is listing as their latest event(s) an earthquake at 38.55S 176.81E Ml 3.7 today (April 30 NZST). This event was felt in the epicentral region and was succeeded by at least 5 aftershocks. Don had expected an earthquake within 65 km of 38.0S 177.0E with Ml 3-4. starting on May 2 to May 6. This was a couple of days early and right at the edge of the expected area, but could be a foreshock to a larger event in the expected time period. For now, it is a partial hit.
