I don't think it would be particularly difficult to do Roger, but at the moment it is still a bit hazy how this operates and exactly what the effect is overall, so a ringmap type of document might be a bit misleading, suggesting we know more than we do. For the moment, a simple alert seems the best until more details can be garnered. It is quite possible that by combining several of these such as ring map with geomagnetic effects etc. a much more detailed picture of immediate threat might be garnered, but this is probably beyond our current level of understanding, and again might be misleading to those who do not know the abysmal level of our current knowledge in these matters. At least the ring maps are based on a physical and observable phenomena - the intensitification of seismic energy at certain distances from an epicenter, so I think it is safe and not terribly misleading to post those.
