My guesses for a possible tax day quake in California never happened. I feel that the other entries for the contest were far more inspired. I have relatives just outside of Paris, Texas - now that was a good choice compared to mine. I was trying to think of a logical place as to where larger earthquakes are expected.

I worry about the lower section of the San Andreas.

I worry about Parkfield.

I worry about Bolinas - and Northern California.

I also worry about the northern end of the Newport-Inglewood fault and the Elysian Park Fault.

I worry about Japan - Tokyo.

I just hope when the next big one happens in California we are all just a little more prepared and that it happens in a lower population base area and good firm ground. Lets all stay safe.
